Introduction

The Cardano Token Registry serves as the official CIP-26 off-chain metadata repository for native tokens on Cardano mainnet. Managed by the Cardano Foundation, this registry allows token creators to submit human-readable metadata that maps to on-chain asset identifiers. The system enables wallets, explorers, and DApps to display meaningful token information instead of cryptographic hashes.
