Overview
iCheck is a Vietnamese product-digitization platform that helps manufacturers and distributors fight counterfeits, trace where goods come from, and manage how products move from factory to shelf. Brand owners use it to put scannable QR codes and barcodes on their products so a shopper can check authenticity with a phone, and so the company can follow each item through its supply chain1. It packages anti-counterfeiting, warranty, traceability, and distribution tools into one suite rather than offering them piecemeal.
The company has operated for roughly a decade and reports more than 25,000 business customers across Vietnam, with backing from VNLife Group1. What to Expect
For most visitors, iCheck shows up as the consumer iCheck Scan app: point a phone at a product code and the app reports whether the item appears genuine, alongside reviews and product information. The app is in Vietnamese and is aimed at the Vietnamese market. Business customers see a different side, a set of dashboards and services for issuing codes, managing distribution, and protecting against fakes.
The Cardano side is research, not a live consumer feature. iCheck's team ran a Project Catalyst-funded project (Fund 13) called "Anti-Counterfeiting System Integrating with Cardano Blockchain," which migrated an existing anti-counterfeit database toward Cardano and recorded verification events as on-chain data35. The project's own closeout report describes a completed pilot running on Cardano's main network with more than 20,000 products, though this account is self-reported and the public website and consumer app still show no Cardano integration4. Two follow-up proposals in Fund 14 were submitted but not approved3.
