Introduction

Plutus Bench is a unified Python framework for testing and benchmarking Cardano smart contracts across multiple programming languages. The tool creates mock ledger environments with configurable UTxO sets and hosts a mock BlockFrost API to support popular off-chain tooling. Developed by the OpShin team with Project Catalyst funding, it enables holistic testing of entire smart contract lifecycles.
