Overview
NMKR Pay is a hosted checkout that lets project teams accept payment for token and NFT sales, including from buyers who don't own any crypto yet. Buyers can pay with ADA from their own wallet, or with a credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, ETH, or SOL, and still receive their item as a native Cardano asset1. Sellers run the checkout on a hosted page, embed it on their own site, or share a direct payment link.
NMKR Pay is one feature of the broader NMKR Studio minting platform, built by NMKR (legal name utxo AG, registered in Zug, Switzerland). The non-ADA payment options are powered by a third-party processor called Crossmint, so a buyer with nothing but a debit card can still take part in a Cardano sale2.

- Scheduled sale starts with a countdown. Sellers can pick a launch time in advance, and buyers see a live countdown that turns into the active checkout the moment the sale opens. Useful for coordinating a planned drop1.
- Treasury-friendly multi-signature payments. Groups that hold funds in a shared wallet, like a DAO treasury that needs more than one signer to approve a payment, can complete a purchase with the right combination of co-signers instead of relying on a single person's signature4.
What to Expect
For a buyer, NMKR Pay looks like a normal online checkout. You pick how you want to pay, either by connecting a Cardano wallet for ADA or choosing a card option, you see the price (which can be displayed in your local currency), and you approve the payment. If the seller has turned on a queue or scheduled a launch, you'll see a place-in-line indicator or a countdown until the sale opens.
For a seller, most of the work happens inside NMKR Studio, the dashboard where you set up your sale. From there you choose how buyers will reach the checkout: a hosted NMKR Pay page, an embedded widget on your own site, or a one-off payment link you can send straight to a buyer. A manual sending option covers buyers whose wallets don't support the standard wallet connector4.
NMKR Pay is a checkout layer, not a marketplace. It works best for teams that already have something to sell, like a token launch, an NFT drop, or an event ticket, and want a simple way to take payment without locking out buyers who haven't bought crypto before.
