Overview
NuFi's web wallet lets you hold crypto from many different blockchains (Cardano, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and many others) from a single web page. There's nothing to install: open wallet.nu.fi in any browser, log in (or set up a new wallet), and you're in. The browser-add-on version of NuFi has the same features for users who'd rather have the wallet always available in their toolbar1.
NuFi is built by Swiss company NUFI AG, the team behind AdaLite, one of the original Cardano wallets going back to 20182. The pitch: one wallet that works across many blockchains, with self-custody (you hold the recovery phrase, not the company) and a clean dashboard.
Key Features
- Many chains, one wallet. Cardano sits next to Bitcoin, Solana, Ethereum, Flow, Tron, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Avalanche, BNB Smart Chain, and most other major blockchains, with built-in tools for moving between them1.
- Sign up without a recovery phrase if you want to. A social-login option lets you create a wallet through Google, Facebook, Discord, or X using a clever security scheme that still keeps you in control of your keys. You can add a recovery phrase later1.
- Stake ADA, SOL, and FLOW. Earn rewards on three different blockchains from the same wallet, with your coins staying in your control the whole time1.
- Pair with almost any hardware wallet. Ledger (over USB or Bluetooth), Trezor, Keystone, OneKey, GridPlus, and BitBox. That's one of the widest hardware-wallet lists of any web wallet3.
- A version inside MetaMask. If you already use MetaMask for Ethereum, NuFi has an add-on for it that lets you manage ADA and Cardano tokens from inside MetaMask, using the same recovery phrase.
- A safety net for risky transactions. Each transaction is scanned for known scams by a service called Blockaid before you approve it3.
What to Expect
Setting up NuFi takes a few minutes. You can either go the standard route (write down a recovery phrase) or use the social-login option, which lets you skip the recovery phrase up front and add one later. Existing crypto holders can import their wallet and immediately see balances across every supported chain in a single dashboard.
The interface favours a unified view rather than separate pages per blockchain. You see your total holdings up front, with each chain expandable for chain-specific actions like staking. NFTs from different chains appear together in one gallery, so a Cardano NFT can sit next to a Solana or Ethereum one. The Cardano experience covers the basics most users need: staking, DEX swaps, signing into Cardano apps.
For users who want a single wallet across many blockchains, NuFi is one of the more thoughtful options, especially given the team's long Cardano history.
