Overview

Stakada is a free toolkit for Cardano stake pool operators who want to make their websites more useful and easier to delegate from. It offers ready-made widgets that drop into any pool site, showing live pool numbers, a step-by-step guide for new delegators, and a countdown to the next round of rewards. ADA holders can also use Stakada directly to browse pools and explore alliances of pools that share a mission.

The project was built by a solo developer behind the ECO pool, who noticed that many pool websites lacked the small interactive touches that turn visitors into actual delegators. Rather than asking every operator to build those pieces from scratch, Stakada provides plug-and-play widgets that pull live data from Blockfrost and Cexplorer.12

Key Features

  • Live pool stats widget. Operators can paste a short snippet of code into their site to show real-time pool size, fees, declared pledge, and blocks produced. Colors, light or dark theme, and custom labels can be set with simple URL options1.
  • A delegation walkthrough. A how-to-delegate widget guides new visitors through buying ADA on an exchange, moving it into a wallet, and choosing a pool. It links to Yoroi, Daedalus, Nami, and Eternl, and it auto-detects the visitor's device to send them to the right app store.
  • Countdown to the next reward cycle. A small embed shows the time left in the current five-day Cardano reward cycle, so delegators know when their next rewards will land.
  • Smart wallet link. A single redirect link sends each visitor to the right install page for the Yoroi wallet, whether they are on a phone, tablet, or computer.
  • Pool alliances directory. Stakada also hosts curated groups of pools that share a mission, such as Mission Driven Pools and Climate Neutral Cardano, plus a list of pools that already use Stakada widgets.

What to Expect

The main Stakada site is straightforward: a homepage with a searchable list of stake pools, a tools page with documentation for each widget, and the alliance pages that group pools by shared goals. The widget docs include copy-and-paste code, a table of the options you can tweak, and a live preview so operators can see exactly what visitors will see.

The widgets are free with an optional donation model. There is no account or sign-up for operators, and Stakada handles all of the data fetching in the background. Operators who want to match their site's look can change colors, hide or show parts of each widget, and pick a theme, all through the URL settings rather than custom code. For everyday ADA holders, Stakada also doubles as a clean directory for discovering smaller pools and mission-driven groups.
