Overview
Super Cardano is a free website1 for checking token prices, liquidity and trades, and for looking up blocks, transactions, stake pools and governance votes2. It suits traders sizing up a token, holders checking on a wallet, and anyone following a vote, and its wallet lookup never asks you to connect a wallet3.
Super Cardano covers the Cardano blockchain and is run by The Better Company Inc., a company incorporated in Canada3. Alongside its token pages, it works as a block explorer, a public viewer for the chain's records. Super Cardano runs its own Cardano node, a computer that keeps a full copy of the chain, plus an indexer that sorts that data into searchable records. Token prices, trades, holders and wallet balances are read from these, while some chain pages, such as blocks, transactions, stake pools and governance, still read from Koios, a public Cardano data service3. Token prices come from the trading pools of decentralized exchanges such as Minswap, SundaeSwap and WingRiders, and each figure names the block it was read from4.
Key Features
- Prices that show how far to trust them. Super Cardano reads a trading pool only once it is 15 blocks deep, about five minutes, so a later chain correction cannot change the figure. Each price carries a High, Medium or Low grade based on how much ADA backs it, how closely its pools agree and how recently they changed5.
- See who really holds a token. Holder lists group addresses by stake key, the ID that ties a wallet's addresses together, so a wallet with many addresses counts once. A Risk tab sets out plain facts about each token and never gives a score or a safety verdict5.
- Check any wallet without connecting one. Paste a wallet address, stake key or $handle, a readable name that stands in for an address, to see its holdings, its Liqwid loans and what a price fall would do to them6.
- Follow governance votes as they happen. For each open governance action, a formal proposal put to an on-chain vote, Super Cardano shows how the constitutional committee (a small group that checks whether proposals fit Cardano's constitution), DReps (representatives ADA holders pick to vote for them) and stake pools have voted against the threshold each must reach7.
- Stress-test lending against an ADA drop. The Liqwidation Simulator uses public data from Liqwid, a Cardano lending app, to show how much of its lending would be liquidated if ADA's price fell. Liquidation lets anyone repay part of a weak loan and take the borrower's collateral8.
What to Expect
The token list can be filtered by liquidity, price change, age, trading volume, price confidence and the exchange a token trades on9. Each token page carries Super Cardano's own price charts along with holders and risk checks3. To trade, a token's Trade on links open DexHunter and Minswap, which route trades across Cardano's exchanges, plus the exchange of each pool Super Cardano reads for that token5. Those links carry no referral or partner code5.
People using it as an explorer can browse blocks, transactions and stake pools. Inside the Block shows each new block as it lands, with its transactions, the coins each one spends and the coins it creates10. The site is available in 13 languages3.
Connecting a wallet is optional. It creates an account with no email or password that can hold several wallets and price alerts1. According to the site's terms, connecting asks for one signature on a short message, which is not a transaction and cannot move funds1. The privacy policy says Super Cardano shows no ads and sells no data11.
