Overview
TosiDrop is a token distribution platform that lets Cardano projects send their tokens to community members in two ways: dropping tokens straight into a list of wallets, or setting up a claim page where holders show up and pull the tokens themselves. TosiDrop handles the wallet checks, the snapshot (a record of who held what at a chosen moment), and the on-chain plumbing, so the project team does not have to build any of it. Anyone with an ADA wallet can use the claim page to collect tokens from drops they qualify for.
Beyond Cardano, TosiDrop also supports direct airdrops (free token distributions) on Ergo, and it has been used to deliver tokens for ecosystem projects including Minswap, AADA Finance, and anetaBTC1. TosiDrop sits in the broader reward distribution category alongside other tools that move tokens from projects to their communities.
Key Features
- Two ways to send tokens out. A project can either airdrop tokens straight to a list of wallets, or open a claim page where eligible holders show up and pull their share. The right choice depends on whether the team wants to push tokens to everyone at once or let people opt in over time2.
- Claim tokens with a small ADA payment. Holders connect a wallet, send a small amount of ADA to a TosiDrop address, and receive the tokens back in the same transaction. Most of the ADA they send returns with the tokens, and only a fixed service fee and network costs stay behind3.
- Used by established Cardano projects. Teams including Minswap, AADA Finance, anetaBTC, Ardana, and Smart Contract Audit Token have used TosiDrop for their distributions, so the workflow covers a range of token types, from DeFi tokens to lending platforms and community drops1.
- Cross-chain reach to Ergo. Beyond Cardano, projects on Ergo can use TosiDrop for direct airdrops to community wallets. The Ergo flow is narrower than the Cardano version, because it does not include the claim-page option, but it gives multi-chain projects a single tool for distributions across both networks2.
- Public code and Catalyst-funded audit work. The TosiDrop codebase lives on a public GitHub organization under an active TypeScript stack, and the team has run multiple Project Catalyst proposals to fund product work and audits4.
What to Expect
If you land on TosiDrop as a token holder, the experience is short. You connect a Cardano wallet, the page checks which active drops your wallet qualifies for, and you decide whether to claim. To claim, you send a small ADA payment, typically around 3.5 ADA, and receive your tokens back along with most of the ADA in the same transaction3. The history page shows past claims so you can see what you have collected.
If you are a project team using TosiDrop, the experience is closer to a checkout configuration. You decide which wallets are eligible, how the snapshot is taken, and which distribution method fits, whether that is a direct airdrop, a claim page, or, on Ergo, a straight airdrop. TosiDrop handles the on-chain mechanics from there.
