VAULT3

Overview

VAULT3 is a service on Cardano that lets creators and projects restrict access to files, forms, and online experiences based on what a visitor holds in their Cardano wallet¹. A creator uploads content, sets the conditions for who can see it (specific tokens, NFTs, stake pool delegation, or a list of approved wallets), and shares a single link. Anyone who clicks the link connects a wallet, the wallet is checked against the rules, and the content opens for visitors who qualify.

VAULT3 is aimed at creators, NFT projects, DApp teams (apps that run on a blockchain), and communities that want to reward token holders without building their own access infrastructure. The platform ships as a hosted web app, a public data interface for other tools, and an open-source JavaScript code library so that projects can embed VAULT3 gates directly inside their own websites.

• Wallet-based access conditions. Gates can require specific tokens, NFT collections, stake pool delegation (showing support for a particular Cardano validator), or membership in an approved wallet list, combined through the web app's condition builder¹.

What to Expect

Using VAULT3 follows a three-step flow: create, share, access. Creators upload content or build a form through the hosted dashboard, set access conditions and branding, then connect a wallet to publish the gate¹. The resulting link can be posted on social media, embedded in a website, or attached to an NFT so that the asset itself becomes the key. Visitors who click the link connect a Cardano wallet and sign a read-only proof of what they hold, so the connection cannot move any of their assets. When a wallet does not qualify, the page shows the exact access requirements rather than a generic error, helping visitors understand which token or stake delegation would let them in.

VAULT3 is operated by parent entity GranADA Pool, a Cardano stake pool operator that lists VAULT3 among its product portfolio with a live status³. The team funded multiple deliverables through Project Catalyst, including the foundational data-gating service under Fund 10⁴ and the open-source JavaScript library under Fund 11, completed in December 2024². Builders evaluating VAULT3 should note the trade-offs. The hosted surface reduces integration effort, while the library path preserves brand control at the cost of implementation work. A public GitHub repository for the library is not linked from vault3.io, so technical adopters should contact the team through Discord or Telegram to request repository access. No project-issued token is in circulation.
