Overview
NUFI is a non-custodial multi-chain browser wallet built by Swiss company NUFI AG that brings Cardano together with Bitcoin, Solana, Ethereum, other EVM and SVM networks, and Flow inside a single interface1. The team has been building Cardano onboarding tools since 2018 and previously released AdaLite, one of the earliest browser-based Cardano wallets2. NUFI ships as both a browser extension and a web wallet at wallet.nu.fi, giving users a choice between a persistent extension experience and a downloadless entry point.
The wallet targets users who hold assets across several ecosystems and want to avoid juggling separate apps for each chain. It is fully non-custodial, meaning private keys stay under user control and NUFI cannot access funds on behalf of the user3.

What to Expect
The NUFI experience is built around reducing friction for multi-chain users. New users can either set up a traditional seed-phrase wallet or use NUFI Connect, a social-login option that creates a non-custodial wallet through a Google, Facebook, Discord, or X account without requiring a recovery phrase up front2. Existing crypto holders can import an account and immediately see balances across every supported chain in a unified dashboard.
DApp interactions work through standard wallet connection patterns on each supported chain, and a wallet emulation mode lets NUFI present itself to DApps that expect specific wallet APIs. NFT holdings are aggregated into a cross-chain gallery so collectibles from Cardano and other networks appear side by side, and EVM Smart Accounts allow transaction bundling on supported EVM networks for more efficient interactions. Cross-chain swaps are available directly inside the wallet, removing the need to bridge through external services for common conversions.
Cardano users in particular benefit from native delegation, integrated DEX aggregation, and the option to extend the same account into MetaMask through the published Snap. Independent security review documentation was not identified in publicly available materials, so users handling significant balances should pair NUFI with one of its supported hardware wallets for cold-storage signing and rely on the built-in Blockaid scanning when approving unfamiliar contracts.
