Overview
Reach Your People (RYP) is a free service that lets you pick where Cardano project announcements show up: in your email, on your phone as a text, in your Discord, in your Telegram, or right in your browser. You connect a wallet, choose your channels once, and stop hunting through Discord servers and X feeds for news from the projects you care about. The projects sending the updates never see your contact details, so you stay reachable without becoming a marketing lead1.
RYP is built by Vibrant Solutions, the team behind VibrantNet, a chat-room helper used by hundreds of Cardano communities2.
Key Features
- Sign up with your wallet. Connect a Cardano wallet, tick the channels you want to be reached on, and RYP figures out which projects to subscribe you to based on the tokens and NFTs already in your wallet1.
- Pick how news reaches you. Each project announcement can land in your email, as a text message, in Discord, in Telegram, or as an in-browser pop-up. You set a default channel and can send urgent items somewhere else, like a text to your phone3.
- Different rules per wallet. If you keep a personal wallet separate from a trading or team wallet, you can mute, pause, or fine-tune notifications differently for each one1.
- Heads-up for the things that matter. Get a nudge when there's a new governance vote, a software upgrade on the way, or when the stake pool you delegate to is shutting down. These are the kinds of updates that are easy to miss until it's too late3.
- Your inbox stays yours. You give your email or phone number to RYP, not to the projects. Projects can still reach you, but they never get your contact list2.
What to Expect
For most people, RYP feels like setting up one tidy inbox for the Cardano projects you actually care about. You sign up at ryp.io, connect a wallet, and add the one or two channels you actually check. From then on, announcements show up there instead of being scattered across half a dozen Discord servers and social feeds.
If you run a stake pool or are a delegated representative voting on Cardano's behalf, the same setup works in reverse. You can let the people delegating to you know about a new vote, an upcoming network upgrade, or a change to the pool itself, all through the channels each of them prefers, instead of hoping they spot a tweet3.
The product is built and maintained by Vibrant Solutions and is paid for in part by Project Catalyst, Cardano's community-funded grants programme. The first working version came out of a Fund 10 grant, with a Fund 12 proposal aimed at extending the same idea to other blockchains4. The Cardano Foundation lists RYP among the everyday tools that help holders keep up with governance and project news5.
