Overview
VyFinance Bar is a fee-share staking product that lets you earn a cut of the trading fees generated across the VyFinance exchange1. You stake the platform's VYFI token and receive xVYFI, a receipt token whose value climbs as fees flow in2. It suits VYFI holders who want passive income tied to how much the protocol is used, without picking pools or locking funds for a fixed term.
VyFinance is a decentralized finance protocol on Cardano, and the Bar (branded VYFIAPEX) is the piece that shares the protocol's earnings with token holders. A slice of every trade, plus a weekly cut of wider platform earnings, is collected and added to the Bar as VYFI13. Because that VYFI is added without creating new xVYFI, each xVYFI comes to represent a larger share of the pool over time2.

What to Expect
You connect a Cardano wallet, open the Bar tab, enter how much VYFI you want to stake, and confirm the transaction5. In return you receive xVYFI, which appears in your wallet as your claim on the pool. From then on you do nothing. As trades happen across the protocol, fees are periodically added to the pool and the value of each xVYFI edges up2.
When you want your VYFI back, you return to the Bar tab and swap your xVYFI for VYFI at the current rate4. You get back your original amount plus whatever share of fees has built up since you staked. The documentation describes no cooldown or waiting period, so exiting is a single transaction4. How much you earn depends entirely on trading activity across the protocol, so returns rise and fall with usage rather than following a set schedule1.
